Aika means “listen” in Marathi. At Aika Labs we’re building an AI that anyone in India can call on an ordinary phone and talk to in their own language. No app, no internet, no reading required. Just a voice that listens.
Home is my wife of three years and Mabel, the white golden retriever we adopted, now four, with Rolf, our brown chow chow who we lost, still watching over us. It’s also a guitar in the corner, a piano I’m slowly learning, and a lifelong, slightly unreasonable love for Liverpool.
I joined Amazon as an intern and stayed eight years, growing into an engineering lead. Now I’m a founder, doing an online M.S. in AI at UT Austin, and learning piano. My fitness has gone up and down more than once; I’m back at the gym, one step at a time.
